Soil in a Bottle

Project Overview 
 
"Soil in a Bottle" is a project that is carried out in cooperation with citizens
across the country.
Searching for microorganisms that eliminate greenhouse gases from soils across Japan.
 
This is a citizen science project launched by Tohoku University.
 
Participants will collect and provide samples of the air and soil around them.
 
We aim to discover microorganisms that can help combat global warming.
Would you like to join us in our search for these mysterious microorganisms?
